I am a mature worker with a very well cared for cat and my elderly mom who lives with me. I work for the government from home but my mom and I plan to move out of the country to the country Belize sometime between October and December of this year. My lease in my current rental ends June 30th. Finding short term rentals is extremely difficult so I thought a homestay might be an option. I am seeking a quiet homestay that has a basement suite or at least a room with private bathroom and shared kitchen, that would allow us to stay 4-6 months for around $1000-$1300 per month. We require no meals as we can provide our own. We can also contribute towards utilities or just pay higher rent for included utilities. We are both respectful and quiet. I clean up regularly after my cat and she does not scratch furniture or carpets.
